New Orleans. 1931.

A city of jazz and juke joints, smoke‑choked alleyways, and secrets that slither just beneath the gaslight glow.

My name is Sebastian, one of your Monday‑night D&D DMs, and I’m opening the doors to something a little darker on Sunday nights, 6–9 PM at Go4. I’ll be stepping into the role of Storyteller as we descend together into the World of Darkness for a brand‑new Hunter: The Reckoning V5 chronicle.

🖤 A Noir Tale in a City Drowning in Shadows

While Hunter stories often unfold in the modern day, this campaign drags us back to a time when the world itself felt haunted. Drawing from my background as a tour guide and lifelong history buff, I’ve built a setting steeped in the grit, folklore, and forgotten truths of 1930s New Orleans.

The Great Depression.

The Dust Bowl.

Prohibition.

Hard times make desperate people, and desperate people attract things far worse than criminals.

You will serve an organization sworn to protect the innocent from the strange, the uncanny, and the hungry things that stalk the bayou and the backstreets. In a city where revelry masks rot, you’ll learn quickly that not all monsters hide their teeth.

⚙️ Custom Edges & Setting Adjustments

Because of the era, some Edges have been reworked to better fit the tone and technology of the 1930s. Session 0 will cover all changes, and I’m fully open to discussion as we shape these tools together.

This campaign draws heavily from Louisiana folklore, real historical events, and the lived experiences of the people who called the bayou home. Expect a blend of fact and fiction, not romanticized legend, but the raw, unvarnished stories that linger in the dark.

Because this chronicle touches on difficult periods in New Orleans history, themes may become heavy or emotionally intense. Topics may include hardship, violence, and other sensitive material.

During Session 0, we’ll establish Safety Tools as a group to ensure everyone feels respected, supported, and able to enjoy the experience.
