The world is ablaze.
The Axis powers have made great strides on three continents. Armies have been broken. Nations have fallen. In the dark places of the world, terrors lie in wait for the time to strike. The OSI, a joint office formed of the nominally neutral United State's OSS and the embattled British SOE, serves as first and last line of defense against the inexplicable horrors both cultivated and accidental that have arisen. The OSI, in need of a discrete mobile base of operations, has taken the HMS Surprise, a Q-ship (armed vessel disguised as a merchant cruiser) that has been recently paid off by the Royal Navy into their service. Her new mission: transport OSI teams and personnel to where the weird and dangerous has arisen, and to take the fight to the supernatural and the Axis alike.
This game will run Saturday nights at 6pm, from July 11th to August 15th. The system will be Savage Worlds Adventure Edition, using the Weird War II setting.
The first session will be a session 0- character creation and more in character briefing. This story will take us to the bitter cold of the North Sea, the sun-drenched Mediterranean, and possibly even the Pacific.
Players Characters can be members of Surprise's crew, military personnel seconded to OSI by their respective nation's militaries, or civilian members of the OSI. Soldiers to spies, mechanics to mad scientists, we've got room for you. The question is, as always, do you have what it takes?
